Very good info. Follow closely the actions against these rioters as opposed to the draconian persecutions of J6 participants and even non-involved bystanders.

There will be a stark difference!

These organizations could just as easily be prosecuted for seditious conspiracy under the same theory the Biden DoJ used to prosecute The Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. These two groups didn't engage in any violence and some of them who were convicted weren't even in the capitol on Jan. 6. The government used a novel theory, "the tool theory" to convict them.

After Trump pardoned some of them and commuted the sentences of others, the Proud Boys are now suing the government for malicious prosecution and violation of their constitutional rights. According to their lawyers, the government “... utilized a novel legal theory called the ‘tool’ theory... Under this theory, the government argued that any wrongful or illegal action taken by any member of the crowd present on January 6 was attributable to the Plaintiffs, regardless of whether any of the Plaintiffs had actually ever directed, spoken to, or even known the person committing the crime.” The government describes this as a form of "stochastic terrorism". Wikipedia defines it as such:

"Stochastic terrorism is a form of political violence instigated by hostile public rhetoric directed at a group or an individual. Unlike incitement to terrorism, stochastic terrorism is accomplished with indirect, vague or coded language, which grants the instigator plausible deniability for any associated violence. A key element of stochastic terrorism is the use of media for propagation, where the person carrying out the violence may not have direct connection to any other users of violent rhetoric"

While this tool theory or stochastic terrorism seems to be a stretch, the Trump DOJ appears to have a much stronger case against these organizations for inciting violence than the Proud Boys case or Trump's second impeachment where he was charged for inciting an insurrection when he told the crowd to go to the designated area of the capital (where they had a permit to gather) and peacefully make their voices heard.
